Normally we would be posting all about wine, our love for wine, wine recipes, wine memes, wine jokes, wine accessories, etc., etc. Today is a day to shake things up though… today is NATIONAL IPA DAY!

While we are wine lovers through and through here at the Suwanee Wine Fest headquarters, we are at our roots still a group of hop-headed Southerners. So allow us to introduce a collaboration of two of our favorites things. Fried Chicken and Beer! Seriously.

The mad scientists over at Virginia based brewery, The Veil Brewing Co., have taken the coveted Chik-fil-A chicken strips and chucked them straight into their beer creating a beautiful hybrid of the best and worst kind.

The resulting beer, Fried Fried Chicken Chicken is a Double IPA that registers at 8% ABV, brimming with all sorts of aromatic goodness and notes of citrus and pine. This beer is only available for a limited amount of time, so we suggest in honor of IPA day- find a way get your hands on this beer and… drink your chicken!
